Umma Nikah

Terms of Service

Terms of use for Umma Nikah. By using the service you accept these terms.

4 August 2026

1. General provisions

These Terms govern the relationship between the owner of the Umma Nikah service (the “Service”), available at nikah.ummalife.com and through the Telegram bot @nikahappbot, and the user.

The Service is part of the Umma Life ecosystem. The founder and owner of the Service is Isa Dagestani (1sa.me).

Using the Service means full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you disagree with any provision, you may not use the Service.

2. Who may use the Service

  • The Service is intended for Muslims only. By filling in the profile a user confirms that they are a Muslim. A profile stating otherwise is not shown in the search.
  • The user must be a legally capable person aged 18 or over.
  • You can sign in with Telegram, with Google, by phone number or by a code sent to your email. One person corresponds to one profile: signing in by different means with the same confirmed address leads to the same profile.
  • Profile information must be truthful. Using another person’s data or photographs, or inventing circumstances, is prohibited.
  • A profile photograph must depict the user. Images used in place of the user’s own photograph — cards, captions and quotes, landscapes, drawings — are not accepted.
  • Photograph requirements differ. For a man the face must be visible, and his profile is shown in the search only with a photograph. For a woman showing the face is not required: photographs in a niqab or headscarf, or taken from behind, are accepted, and she may keep her profile with no photograph at all, which is marked as such in the search.
  • Before a mutual like nobody sees faces — a blurred preview stands in for the photograph. On a mutual like the photographs open for both sides at once: liking back is itself the consent to be seen.
  • The Service is intended for finding a spouse with a view to marriage.

3. Rules of conduct

The following is prohibited on the Service:

  • insulting, threatening or degrading anyone on grounds of nationality, gender or religion;
  • posting indecent material or photographs that fall short of standards of modesty;
  • impersonating another person or using someone else’s photographs and data;
  • commercial activity, advertising and invitations to third-party services;
  • requesting or collecting other users’ personal data for purposes unrelated to matchmaking;
  • soliciting money, asking for financial help, or drawing others into financial schemes;
  • using automated tools for bulk actions, or creating new profiles after a block;
  • passing phone numbers, usernames, links or invitations to other messengers inside the conversation — including ones spelled out in words, letter by letter, or hidden in an image.

Breaking these rules leads to restriction of individual features, or a temporary or permanent block of the profile. The decision is taken by the Service’s moderation team on the basis of complaints and its own review.

Access closed by moderation is not restored by creating a new profile: the Service keeps the sign-in identifiers of the deleted account — Telegram id, email address, phone number, Google id — and refuses entry by any of them. If you believe the decision is a mistake, write to support: it is reviewed.

How a conversation begins. After a mutual like the man writes to the woman’s guardian: who he is, why he chose her and what his intentions are. The appeal is seen both by the guardian and by the woman herself. Without it a conversation does not begin.

A witness is required. If the woman has added her own guardian from among her mahrams, he is the witness. If she has none, the service fills that role: a moderator reads the conversation, and the other side is told so. A guardian added later takes the place of the service.

Only a man from among her mahrams may be a guardian: father, brother, uncle, son. A woman cannot be recorded as a guardian — the Service does not create such links and removes the ones created earlier.

A word on contacts. Conversation happens inside the Service — that is how a guardian can see it and how it stays protected. A message containing a contact is not delivered, and the attempt is recorded. After two warnings, a third attempt closes access to the Service indefinitely, and money already paid is not refunded (see the Refund Policy). Images sent in a conversation are checked automatically: a contact captured in a screenshot or written into a picture counts as the same attempt.

A violation is not only the contact itself but also an arrangement to make one: a suggestion to continue the conversation in another app, a request to find the other person on social networks, a promise to “say it elsewhere”, and likewise a username sent as a separate message without explanation. Communication outside the Service is seclusion (khalwa) without a witness — the very thing the Service exists to prevent — so an arrangement to take the conversation there is treated the same as passing a contact. If both sides intend to continue the acquaintance, it is done through the guardian: his contact is passed by a separate button in the conversation menu, after a moderator’s check.

4. Paid services and balance

  • Registration and browsing profiles are free.
  • The following are paid: opening a conversation with a chosen user, the PRO subscription (unlimited conversations for the subscription period), and TOP placement of your profile.
  • Prices are displayed in the app at the moment of purchase and may change. As at the date of publication: opening a chat — ₽99, PRO for a week — ₽199, PRO for a month — ₽499, TOP for 3 days — ₽290, TOP for 7 days — ₽490.
  • Payments are processed by payment providers. Card details are entered on the provider’s side; the Service neither receives nor stores them.
  • Topped-up funds are credited to an internal balance. The balance is not electronic money, cannot be transferred to another user, and may only be used to pay for the Service.
  • Bonus credits (welcome bonus, rewards for invited users) are not paid-for funds and are not subject to withdrawal or refund.

Talking to support is free: it does not consume the free chat, is not charged for, and is never closed for silence — it is a channel to the Service, not a conversation with another user.

Refund terms are set out in a separate document — the Refund Policy.

5. Liability

  • The Service provides a platform for meeting people and is not a marriage agency. We do not guarantee an introduction, reciprocity or marriage.
  • The Service does not verify users’ identities and does not confirm the accuracy of profile information. You communicate and meet in person at your own risk and with reasonable caution.
  • The Service is not responsible for users’ conduct towards one another, including transfers of money and any arrangements made outside the Service.
  • The Service makes reasonable efforts to operate without interruption but does not guarantee the absence of technical downtime. Planned and emergency maintenance is not a breach of obligations.

6. User content

By uploading photographs and profile text you confirm that you are entitled to use them and grant the Service the right to display them to other users as part of the Service’s operation. Rights to your content remain yours. The design, interface and software of the Service belong to its owner.

7. Deleting your profile

You may delete your profile at any time through the app settings or by asking support. The consequences of deletion are described in the Privacy Policy. An unused balance is not refunded upon voluntary deletion of a profile, unless the Refund Policy provides otherwise.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. The current version is always published on this page, with the update date shown below. Continuing to use the Service after changes means acceptance of the new version.

9. Dispute resolution

Disputes are resolved through negotiation. Contacting support is a mandatory pre-litigation step; written enquiries are answered within 30 calendar days.
